This is a very subjective question so I've chosen to let you know how much of an online product would cost before actually charging you for it.

Here's why that number will work well for us.

Let's take an average user's situation. They're on the Internet for 6 days per week. There are 3 or 4 family members. No children. No pets. Average usage is 15 hours per week.

Let's look at some basic statistics for home computers here: The average home computer has 32MB of RAM. If you wanted to run a full version of Windows, your average PC would be using at least 192MB of. RAM. With a program like Norton, you'll need much more than that.

We'll assume Norton needs roughly 120MB (1/5 of 192MB) of RAM to run. Correctly. You'll want at least 256MB just for the OS, and if the programs you run do really well, it may need as much as half the total. RAM you have installed.
